About Us
The OmegaChat IRC network was formed with the sole purpose of providing a reliable, comfortable, and stable chatting enviroment for our users. OmegaChat is a fast growing, well established IRC network. OmegaChat offers channel, nickname and vhost services for its users and our servers span the globe for fast connections.
OmegaChat is an established IRC network that has been in existence since January, 2011. OmegaChat offers a variety of services for its users, including Nickname services (NS), Channel services (CS), Memo services (MS), vHost services,(HS) and Bot services(BS). The OmegaChat staff is always available to give assistance to users whenever they need it. OmegaChat strives to keep the network running as smoothly as possible, with fewer splits and minimum lag. OmegaChat is governed by a network policy. This policy gives the users, opers, and administrators a guideline to follow. This policy constitutes the rules of operation on OmegaChat.
[22 September 2011] OmegaChat Server Contest – Opers get Chatters Contest.
We are nearing the end of the year and OmegaChat is running more than half a Year.
We be having a Contest which determine which Opers deserve to be in the Committee Group.
There will be terms and condition towards this contest. All SA-Com, NET-Com and SPAM-Com opers will step down and allow everyone to have a chance to be part of the committee members.
Rules are as follows so hope you do take note of the terms.
- Main Channel User Should Join. #Singapore or #OmegaChat.
- User must register to NickServ and Forum with Valid Email.
- User should not only park but will be monitored how much they converse.
- Opers must converse with the chatters and open up topics to talk about.
- Opers must not have any bad records within the year of 2011.
- Opers are deem to help user and inform which channel they can go to if they need further assistance.
This contest closing date will be till 30th October 2011. Everyone will need to do a part to help OmegaChat Grow. Opers idling within this period of contest will be removed with immediate effect without explaination from Net-Com. LET’s WORK HARD TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE A BETTER CHATTING EXPERIENCE!
